Office Sahayogi · AI-Powered Business Consulting · Live

An AI-powered business doctor for Indian SMEs.

Diagnose. Design. Compare & Select. Deploy. Drive.

Most consultants tell you what’s wrong and leave. Office Sahayogi diagnoses exactly where your business is breaking — builds the system to fix it — and stays in the relationship to make sure it keeps working. This is not advisory. This is operational partnership.

The problem Office Sahayogi solves

Your business is running on people. That’s the problem.

There is a version of every Indian business that exists only in the founder’s head. Not in a document. Not in a system. Not in a process that anyone else knows how to run. Just in the mind of the person who built it — who remembers how every invoice should be raised, how every exception should be handled, and which supplier to call when the usual one doesn’t pick up.

This is not a people problem. Your people are probably capable. This is a system problem — a structural gap that means the business cannot run without the founder at the centre of everything. It cannot scale past the founder’s personal bandwidth. It cannot survive the absence of key individuals. And it cannot be handed over — to a partner, to a management team, or to the next generation — without things falling apart.

Office Sahayogi exists to close that gap. Not by replacing people with software. Not by delivering a report that ends up in a drawer. But by designing the operational system the business needs — and then building it, deploying it, and staying in it with you until it actually runs.

  1. You are the integration layer.

Every important decision, every exception, every cross-functional question comes to you. Not because you want it to — but because there’s no system that handles it without you.

  2. Software isn’t sticking.

You’ve bought tools. Some are half-implemented. Some are used differently by different people. Some are used by one person and ignored by everyone else. The software isn’t the problem — the process underneath it is.

  3. Growth creates more chaos, not more control.

Every new client, every new team member, every new product line increases the complexity you’re managing manually. The business is growing but the founder is getting busier, not freer.

  4. You don’t have a real picture of the business.

You know it’s doing well — roughly. But you can’t look at one dashboard and see your cash position, your compliance status, your team’s attendance, and your pipeline in a single view. That picture lives in five different places, and assembling it takes hours.

If any of these sound familiar — the diagnosis has already started.

How it works — the Business Doctor

Five steps. One complete system. No loose ends.

The Business Doctor framework is Office Sahayogi’s core methodology — developed from six years of operational consulting inside Indian businesses across manufacturing, electronics, medtech, NGOs, food & hospitality, and textiles. Every engagement follows the same five steps. In the same order. For a reason.

Step 1 — Diagnose

Find where the business is actually breaking.

The Business Health Check is a structured diagnostic — not a generic questionnaire, not a financial audit, not an opinion-based assessment. It is a systematic examination of how the business actually operates: who owns what, where handoffs break down, which controls don’t exist, which compliance obligations are being missed, and which growth ambitions are being blocked by system failures.

The output is a Gap Map — a clear, prioritised view of where the business is breaking and why. Alongside it: a KPI Baseline (what the business looks like today, measurably) and a Priority Roadmap (what to fix first, and in what sequence).

This is not a report. It is the foundation of everything that follows.

You will leave this step knowing exactly what’s wrong — not what you think is wrong.

Step 2 — Design

Build the system before you build the software.

The design stage is where most businesses never go — and where most software implementations fail. Because they skip this step. They buy the software first, configure it around a broken process, and wonder why nothing improves.

At the Design stage, Office Sahayogi builds the operational architecture of the business from scratch — or rebuilds the parts that need it. Standard Operating Procedures for every critical function. RACI maps that assign clear ownership to every task and every exception. Internal controls that prevent the same problems from recurring. Review structures that keep the system honest.

The system is fully documented before a single tool is configured. This is the blueprint. Everything else is built from it.

You will leave this step with a system design — on paper, with names on it — before any software is touched.

Step 3 — Compare & Select

The right tools. Chosen for you — not for us.

Office Sahayogi is tool-neutral. This is a structural commitment, not a marketing line. At the Compare & Select stage, every relevant option for every function is evaluated: Sahayogi products, third-party software, tools the business already has, and tools the industry typically uses.

Each option is assessed against the specific requirements identified in the diagnosis and the system designed in the design stage. Scorecards are built. Real-use demo scenarios are scripted — not vendor demos, but tests of how the tool handles your actual business scenarios. The final recommendation is driven entirely by fit.

If a Sahayogi product is the right answer, it is recommended. If a third-party tool serves the business better, that is what gets recommended. The only measure is what the business actually needs.

You will leave this step with a final tool selection and the rationale behind every decision — not a list of subscriptions you’ve been sold.

Step 4 — Deploy

Implementation done right, the first time.

The deployment stage is where strategy becomes reality — and where most implementations go wrong. Configuration happens without the process design as a reference. Data migration is treated as an IT task. Training is a one-time session. Go-live is declared before the system is actually ready.

Office Sahayogi manages the full deployment against the system design built in Step 2. Configuration reflects the SOPs. Data migration is planned as a business transition, not a technical task. Training is structured against real workflows, not product features. And go-live happens with a clear checklist, a contingency plan, and controls verified to be working before the first day of live operation.

You will leave this step with a running system — correctly configured, fully trained, and controlled from day one.

Step 5 — Drive

The relationship that makes the system keep working.

This is where most consulting engagements end. Office Sahayogi’s don’t.

The Drive stage is the ongoing governance relationship — monthly or quarterly review cycles that assess performance against the KPIs established in the diagnosis, surface exceptions before they become problems, handle emerging compliance obligations, and continuously improve the system as the business grows and changes.

This is the retainer relationship. Every Office Sahayogi client is on an ongoing engagement — because a system that isn’t maintained drifts, and a business that isn’t reviewed accumulates the same gaps it started with. The goal is not a one-time fix. The goal is a business that gets progressively easier to run — and progressively more able to grow without the founder at the centre of everything.

You will leave this step — every month, every quarter — with a clearer picture of the business and a specific action list for what needs attention next.

Office Sahayogi services

What we do. In detail.

Every Office Sahayogi engagement is built from the following service blocks — selected, sequenced, and scoped based on the diagnostic findings. No standard packages. Every engagement is designed for the business it serves.

  • Business Health Check

The structured diagnostic. Operational gap mapping, KPI baselining, compliance posture assessment, system audit, and priority roadmap. This is where every engagement begins — and the output that defines everything that follows.

Duration: Typically 2–4 weeks depending on business complexity

  • Execution System Setup

The design and implementation of the operational architecture — SOPs, workflows, RACI maps, internal controls, and review structures — for the functions identified as priority gaps in the diagnostic. This is the system the business runs on.

Output: A documented, named, owned operational system

  • Cashflow & Collections Accelerator

A targeted intervention for businesses where cash flow visibility is limited and collections are inconsistent. Includes receivables process design, follow-up workflow setup, collection automation through Chat with Sahayogi, and weekly cashflow visibility dashboards.

Output: Structured cashflow process with automated follow-up and live visibility

  • Control & Compliance Shield

An internal controls and compliance structure for businesses operating across GST, TDS, labour law, and sector-specific regulations. Includes compliance calendar setup, ownership assignment, exception tracking, and regular review cycles.

Output: A compliance architecture that doesn’t depend on one person’s memory

  • Accounts & Reconciliation

Systematic accounting process design and ongoing reconciliation — monthly book closure, bank reconciliation, vendor and debtor reconciliation, and accuracy controls. Designed for businesses where accounts are a reactive function rather than a management tool.

Output: Accurate, timely accounts that give the owner real information — not just year-end numbers

  • Inventory Accuracy Programme

For businesses where inventory is a business-critical asset — manufacturing, trading, electronics, textiles — this service designs and implements an inventory management system with cycle counting, variance tracking, and movement controls.

Output: Inventory that matches physical reality — and a process that keeps it that way

  • Owner’s Dashboard — MIS Pack

The design and implementation of a management information system that gives the business owner a single view of the business: operational KPIs, financial position, compliance status, team metrics, and exception alerts — without manually assembling it from multiple reports.

Output: One dashboard. Everything the owner needs. Updated automatically.

  • Tool Fitment & Onboarding

The Compare & Select and Deploy steps delivered as a standalone service — for businesses that have already done the diagnostic work and need an objective evaluation of their software options, followed by a disciplined implementation.

Output: The right tools, correctly configured, with the team trained to use them

  • Monthly Governance Retainer

The ongoing Drive relationship — monthly or quarterly review cycles, exception handling, compliance monitoring, continuous system improvement, and proactive advisory. This is the relationship every Office Sahayogi client moves into after the initial engagement.

Output: A business that continuously improves — not one that gets one-time advice and drifts back

Who Office Sahayogi is for

This is for you if —

  • You run an Indian SME with 5 to 200 people and the operations are working — but they’re working because the right people haven’t left yet, not because the system is robust enough to handle their departure.
  • You’re a founder who is the bottleneck — every important decision comes to you, and you know it shouldn’t, but you don’t have a system that handles it without you.
  • You’ve tried software before and it hasn’t stuck — accounting software that got half-configured, HR tools that only one person knows how to use, compliance calendars that live in someone’s inbox. You don’t need another tool. You need the process designed before the tool.
  • You’re preparing to scale, bring in a co-founder, or hand over management — and you know the business needs to be on a system before it can be handed over. Right now it’s too dependent on people who’ve been there from the beginning.
  • You’re an advisory or consulting firm that delivers operational, financial, or compliance advice to clients — and you need a methodology and a platform to deliver that advice consistently, at scale, without rebuilding the approach from scratch for every engagement.

How it connects to the ecosystem

The entry point. The ongoing relationship. The bridge to everything else.

Office Sahayogi is not simply one of nine specialist products in the ecosystem. It is the product that makes the rest of the ecosystem work for each client.

The diagnosis determines which products the business needs. The design creates the architecture those products will run on. The compare & select stage evaluates them objectively. The deployment stage configures them correctly. And the drive stage keeps the whole system — consulting, software, and intelligence — working together over time.

Office Sahayogi → BoSS

The system design built in Office Sahayogi becomes the configuration blueprint for BoSS — HR, payroll, finance, inventory, and CRM setup that reflects the SOPs, not the software defaults.

Office Sahayogi → Sahayogi Cloud

The cloud infrastructure strategy is determined in the diagnostic. Office Sahayogi assesses data residency requirements, access needs, and existing infrastructure before recommending the Sahayogi Cloud configuration.

Office Sahayogi → Tax Sahayogi

The compliance audit in the Business Health Check maps every obligation. Tax Sahayogi is configured to track, alert, and assist with the specific obligations identified — not a generic compliance calendar.

Office Sahayogi → Chat with Sahayogi

The customer communication workflows designed in Office Sahayogi’s execution system setup become the automations deployed through Chat with Sahayogi.

Office Sahayogi → Sahayogi AI

As the ongoing governance relationship produces data across functions, Sahayogi AI consolidates it — giving the owner the single-view dashboard that Office Sahayogi’s MIS Pack promises, powered by real-time data from every connected product.

What makes Office Sahayogi different

Why this isn’t like other consulting.

  • Process before software — always

Every Office Sahayogi engagement designs the system before recommending or configuring any software. The process is the product. The software runs the process. Getting that order right is the difference between an implementation that sticks and one that doesn’t.

  • Tool-neutral by design

Office Sahayogi does not earn its recommendation credibility from the tools it recommends. The Compare & Select stage evaluates all options — including non-Sahayogi products — against objective criteria. Clients get the right tools for their business, not the ones their consultant knows best.

  • Retainer, not transactional

One-time audits produce one-time improvements. The operational drift that produces the gaps in the first place begins again the moment the engagement ends. The retainer model exists because the work of keeping a business running on a system is ongoing — and the businesses that sustain improvement are the ones that sustain the relationship.

  • Built from six years of field research

The Business Doctor methodology was not developed in a consulting framework. It was built from six years of operational engagements inside Indian businesses — manufacturing, trading, medtech, NGOs, hospitality — and the pattern recognition that comes from seeing the same system failures repeat across businesses that have nothing else in common.

The diagnosis is the first step. And it might be the most valuable hour you spend on your business this year.

You don’t need to know what’s wrong. You need a structured way to find out — and a team that will build the system to fix it and stay in the relationship to make sure it keeps working.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions.

What is Office Sahayogi?

Office Sahayogi is an AI-powered business consulting practice for Indian SMEs, operating as part of the Sahayogi ecosystem. It delivers operational advisory, system design, tool selection, implementation management, and ongoing governance using the five-step Business Doctor methodology: Diagnose, Design, Compare & Select, Deploy, and Drive. Office Sahayogi operates on officesahayogi.com and all client engagements are retainer-based.

What is the Business Health Check?

The Business Health Check is Office Sahayogi’s structured diagnostic service — a systematic assessment of a business’s operational gaps, compliance posture, system dependencies, and growth blockers. The output includes a Gap Map, a KPI Baseline, and a Priority Roadmap. It is the starting point for every Office Sahayogi engagement and the foundation for all subsequent work.

What types of businesses does Office Sahayogi work with?

Office Sahayogi works with Indian SMEs across sectors — including manufacturing, electronics, medtech, NGOs, food & hospitality, textiles, and professional services. Current and past clients include WWF-India, AV Meditech, Vardhman Electronics, Goela Electronics, Eagle Electric Company, Mittal Spinners, and The Pizza Story.

Is Office Sahayogi a one-time service or ongoing?

Office Sahayogi engagements are retainer-based. Every client moves into an ongoing governance relationship after the initial diagnostic and system implementation — with monthly or quarterly review cycles, exception handling, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement. One-time audits are not the Office Sahayogi model.

Is Office Sahayogi tool-neutral?

Yes. The Compare & Select step of the Business Doctor methodology is explicitly tool-neutral. Office Sahayogi evaluates all available options — Sahayogi products, third-party software, and tools the client already has — and recommends based on fit, not familiarity or financial incentive.

How does Office Sahayogi connect to the Sahayogi ecosystem?

Office Sahayogi is the entry point to the Sahayogi ecosystem. The Business Doctor diagnostic determines which other Sahayogi products a business needs. Office Sahayogi then manages the design, selection, and deployment of those products — and the ongoing Drive retainer maintains the full ecosystem for the client. Office Sahayogi is also the product through which Sahayogi AI’s governance intelligence is most visible, providing the Owner’s Dashboard that gives founders a single view across all connected products.
